Procedures for getting your vehicle back if it was towed by the Oxnard Police Department:

If your vehicles was involved in a traffic accident:
1. In order to remove your vehicle from our facility; you must be the registered owner, provide a copy of the registration and a valid form of identification.
2. Only forms of payment accepted are; cash, VISA, Master Card, American Express. "NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED"
3. Personal Property may be removed only if you are the registered owner, provide a copy of the registration and a valid form of Identification.
4. After hour releases are available by calling 805-486-5355 dial X12 and someone will call you right back to make an appointment for you to come in and get your vehicle.

If your vehicle was involved in a crime or the driver was cited:
1. You will need to obtain a vehicle release from the Oxnard Police Department @ 251 South C Street in Oxnard, CA 805-385-7600
2. Once a release was obtained, you may come to our facility at 1210 East Fifth Street, Oxnard, CA. pay fees incurred by your vehicle, present your Oxnard    Police Department Vehicle release form and show your valid form of I.D. and you may then remove your vehicle from our facility.
3. Personal Property may be removed only if you are the registered owner, provide a copy of the registration and a valid form of Identification.
4. After hour releases are available by calling 805-486-5355 dial X12 and someone will call you right back to make an appointment for you to come in and get your vehicle.

Procedures for getting your vehicle or property back if it was repossessed by your finance company.

If your vehicle was repossessed and you want to get your property back:
1. All personal property is released back to the registered owner only.
2. Personal property is released by appointment only. All appointments are during normal business hours only.
3. Customers that show up with out appointments will not be helped at the counter.
4. Some fees may apply to retrieve personal property pursuant to B&P Code 7507.9 and 9d 
5. Call 805-486-5355 Ext 10 for appointmnet and fees. Cash only!
6. Missed appointments will incur a $50.00 missed appointment fee unless calling prior to given appointment time.

If your vehicle was repossessed and you want your vehicle and property back:
1. Prior to getting your vehicle back you need to go to your local Police Department and obtain a release pursuant to Gov't code  Sec. 26751 & 41612
2. Contact your finance company and makes all payments necessary. They will then fax a release to MTR Inc.
3. Call MTR Inc. @ 805-486-5355 Ext 10 during normal business hours to make an appointment to redeemed your vehicle. All fees due at MTR Inc. will be told to you at this time.
4. When redeeming your vehicle, you will need a valid form of I.D., your police receipt, an appointment and all fees in cash.
5. Missed appointments will incur a $50.00 missed appointment fee unless calling prior to given appointment time.
